Hallo, bin gerade dabei für ein anderes Spiel eine "beispielmap" zu erstellen mit custom texturen, die map ist soweit auch Fertig, Kompilieren klappt auch, es kommt kein fehler (hab -texdata 8192 angehängt) aber wenn die map laden soll kommt "File read Failure"

hab die mal eben angehängt, falls da mal jemand drauf linsen möchte

Aber nur beim CSG-Compiler. Alle anderen gehen vom Standard-Texturspeicherlimit von 4 MB aus.

Hast du schonmal probiert die Texturen runter zu skalieren?

Falls die Texturen nicht gebraucht werden kannst sie ja auch gleich raus löschen.

da sind leider in der ganzen map c.a. 20 texturen und die werden alle gebraucht, wie meinst du das herunterskalieren? noch nie gemacht :x

indem du die dateien mit wally aus der wad exportierst und von 512x512 auf 256x256pixel verkleinerst.

und fürs nächste mal schau dir zuerst den error im Compile Log Analyzer an. Der hilft oftmals witer ;)

oder SuFu nutzen. bringt auch einiges. gibt schon viele solcher Compile Errors hier im forum ;) (bin auch von "alleine" drauf gekommen was man tun muss, SuFu sei dank)
